Outlaws are 2011 Champs
The Tri City Outlaws earned their third N.F.C. Championship with a narrow 12-11 win over the Ottawa Invaders. Fourth quarter touchdowns from Aron Froese and Jon Nedeljkovic provided the margin of victory while Jeff Hildreth crossed the goal line for Ottawa. Jeff Morris booted a 39 yard field goal and had a rouge off a 25 yard missed field goal to complete the scoring. Tri City had previous titles in 2005 and 2008. The Outlaws will host the C.M.F.L. Final at Warrior Field on Saturday September 17th at 7:00 p.m. versus the Calgary Wolfpack who downed the Grand Prairie Drillers to claim the Alberta crown 38-14.
Craig Hodge of Ottawa was the Defensive Player of the Game and Aron Froese of Tri City earned Offensive Player of the Game honours.
