Records update

Several records have been rewritten this year due to the stellar seasons of Josh Gauthier and Jon Nedeljkovic. They became the third pair of running backs (Dave D'Aloisio and Neri Fratin of Sudbury in 1982 as well as John Miller of Sudbury and Leon Peart of Brampton Bears in 1991) to have more than 1,000 yards rushing in the same season. Gauthier eclipsed three season records and a career mark while Nedeljkovic set new career standards in five categories. The updated files are attached.

Also, on August 7th, Tri Citys Jeff Nosal set two new standards for interception returns. He returned one interception 115 yards for the score to eclipse the mark of 110 held by Steve Karniej of Stoney Creek and his second pick of the game netted the game return yards mark to 150 bettering Chris Stanley of Oakville who had 116 in 1983.
